As our name implies, we’ve been rebuilding automotive components since the days of the generator. We have literally hundreds of generator cores, ranging from early Fords to 60’s Jaguars.  Yes, we do all the Volkswagen and Porsche variants.

We’ve converted hundreds of 6 volt generators to 12 volts, and can do yours too. 

Military 24 volt – no problem.

Indian and Harley generators – you bet.  Located only minutes from the original Hell’s Angels club house, we’re familiar with the most demanding customers.

We will typically dismantle, clean, and diagnose the generator.  Field coils will be reinsulated or replaced as necessary.  Armatures are oscilloscope tested, insulated and baked.  Commutators are cut, undercut, and polished.  Bearings, bushings, and brushes are replaced with new.  If necessary armature shafts are replaced.
