Members in Attendance – Cindy Hamilton, Joanna Chew, Lynne Waslohn, Jane Sullivan, Melody Scott, Itsuko Moridaira, Cashie Hull, Shenae Weggoner, Diane Thompson, Diane Kelly, Julie Osborn, Alice Delgado Meeting was called to order at 1:45 p.m. by Joanna Chew, Captain Minutes from September were read and approved. OLD BUSINESS Invitational Update Breakfast will be at 7:00. Format to be angel ball and trash. There is a full field . Championship Tournament Congratulations to our winner, Itsuko Moridaira. We hope to have more participants next year. There was discussion about changing the date to closer to the men’s championship so more people will be in town. General Meeting – October 20 after golf A co-captain is still needed for 2011. The main agenda for the meeting is discussion and voting on several minor by-laws changes. NEW BUSINESS Calendar Format Birthdays will be added to calendar for next year. Motion made and carried to include birthdays. Tee Time Procedures For 2011, procedures for tee selection on Tuesday will change to the following: When a foursome comes to sign in, they will draw a tee for the day out of a box to enable more people to get choice tees. Motion made and approved to implement this procedure. There will be more mixers next year – one a quarter is planned. Christmas Party Carolyn Roth will chair the toy drive again this year. Gifts will go to Travis families. Entertainment is still needed for the party. Board Luncheon Joanna Chew will host the luncheon on Thursday, December 3. WGANC Delegate Melody Scott agreed to represent GVCC at the December 7 meeting at Castlewood. Meeting was adjourned at 2:20. Respectfully Submitted, Lynne Waslohn, Secretary |
