Members in Attendance – Julie Osborne, Sarah Johnson, Cindy Hamilton, Lynne Waslohn. Sue Shively, Loretta McGinnis, Lorraine King, Mary Gay Whiting, Melody Scott, Deanne Ikard, Diane Thompson, Shenae Weggoner. Meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. by Julie Osborn, Captain Minutes from the May Board Meeting were approved. New Business Ladies’ Invitational –Sarah Johnson reported on the upcoming Invitational and provided the attached report for the Board Members. Treasurer’s Report Melody Scott reported that we have purchased 60 dozen balls at $1.88 each. 558 balls are remaining. At the last guest day, not very many balls were given out. A motion was made and passed to pay more places and not give more than 3 balls per person. Guest Day chairperson will take charge of determining how many are to be paid for each tournament. A motion was made and passed to discontinue receiving canceled checks monthly for the invitational account, thus reducing the service fee to $5.00 monthly. Committee Reports East Bay Team Play Our A team is leading with low gross. Sequoia and Oakhurst are pending. Open Day Per Loretta, there are many available and not many people are signing up this year. Guest Day Next Guest Day is July 29. Only one guest per person is allowed for this guest day. Tournament Gold Cup Tournament between Eighteen Hole Ladies and Men’s Seniors is coming up in August. There was discussion about how winners are determined. It is the ladies’ year to provide prizes and our guest day balls will be used. Cindy reported that she only sends information to newspaper for real tournaments, not the funny ones. Several members have asked why it isn’t in the paper every week. The newspaper decides when there is room to print. Membership Karen Diaz has joined the group.
